Hovermap can capture data from inaccessible areas, including GPS-denied environments.

Drone solutions supplier Emesent and mine planning software maker Datamine partnered to ensure Hovermap scans can be imported into Sirovision.

Hovermap can capture data from otherwise inaccessible areas, including beyond visual-line-of-sight and in GPS-denied environments, such as stopes, ore passes and raises. In Sirovision, the user will be able to manipulate the Hovermap scans using geotechnical analysis tools.

The capability will allow users to map geotechnical structures in stopes and other inaccessible areas, Emesent said. “We’re excited to be working with Datamine to unlock new insights for our mining customers,” Emesent CEO Stefan Hrabar said.
