Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. appointed Bill Van Breugel as the lead technical advisor for the Wingdam underground placer gold bulk sampling program. Van Breugel is a mining engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the mining industry. He previously held the positions as senior mine engineer for Cameco’s Cigar Lake project and Kinross Gold’s Hoyle Pond project, engineering lead at the BHP Jansen Project, and project manager for Goldcorp and Star Diamond Corp.
