Katie Sweeney has been promoted to executive vice president and COO of the National Mining Association (NMA) in the U.S. The NMA promoted Tawny Bridgeford to general counsel and senior vice president of regulatory affairs. Justin Prosser and Scott Gemperline have been elevated to directors, political and government affairs, and M.K. Kirlin to manager, political and government affairs. The recent hire of James Young as director, political and government affairs, rounds out the NMA’s full bipartisan government affairs team for the 118th Congress.
