acQuire Technology Solutions released updated GIM Suite 5.3 software. The geology data-management software has a secure REST API for seamless, third-party system-to-system integration and offers improved logging methods for diverse data-capture scenarios.
Leadership at the supplier said the REST API provides a secure way to access and transfer geoscientific information across a software ecosystem. “For GIM Suite customers and third-party vendors, you can use the REST API when developing integrations to query, create and update data stored in GIM Suite,” said Charl Retief, mining value stream leader. “This eliminates the need for manual import and export data routines, or writing SQL scripts, all while adhering to your business rules on site.”
GIM Suite’s graphical logging interface or a grid-based view gives users options when entering data. GIM Suite’s web-based task menu and properties have also been included in GIM Suite 5.3.
