B&J Rocket has been providing tools to various industries for many years, serving customers who regularly have to grind nonmetallic surfaces as a routine work task. In addition to tire retreading and repair, B&J also provides tools to companies that renew, repair or assemble conveyor belts.
In order to address this industry more specifically, B&J has published a new conveyor belt catalog with an appropriate choice of tools. Featured in the catalog, as an example, is a newly designed vented flat disc from the successful Copper Carbide line, enhanced with special cooling vents. Not only do the vented flat discs reduce the heat generated by buffing, they also provide better clearance of dust particles from the buffing process. B&J made this improvement to an existing tool “based on the feedback of our professional global customer base,” said Andreas Müller, managing director of B&J Rocket.
