Thiess officially opened its North American office in Salt Lake City, Utah. Commemorating its entry into the U.S. market and commitment to growth in the region, the local mayor, the Chamber of Commerce and local business partners gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and networking event.
Thiess has operated in the Americas since 2015, in Chile and Canada, applying leading mining operations with a safety-first culture and commitment to client outcomes. Last year, the company was awarded its first U.S. mining services contract for a hard-rock mining operation in Colorado. The company said North America is a key region for Thiess as it continues its journey to supply the resources solutions needed for a more sustainable future.
