Emsbüren, Germany-based PAUS GmbH, manufacturer of specialized underground mining equipment, has expanded its network. During April, the company founded PAUS North America Inc., based out of Walton Hills, Ohio, USA. The new subsidiary will take over the role of NPK Mining, which represented Paus in North America. Kirk Reineke, who has worked with the PAUS underground equipment line for years, was named president of PAUS North America Inc.
With a warehouse of stock equipment and spare parts available in the U.S., Reineke will make sure customers will be provided with continuous supplies, and with original equipment manufacturer trained mechanics, Paus NA will provide any necessary service for machines in the field, according to the company.
PAUS NA will debut at the Elko Mining Show in June in northern Nevada and again at the MINExpo show in September in Las Vegas.
