The world’s largest mining trade show, MINExpo INTERNATIONAL, concluded yesterday. The exposition, which is produced by the U.S. National Mining Association, spanned 660,000 ft2 and included more than 1,400 equipment and technology suppliers. Although official attendance figures were not yet available, the organizers said they were expecting about 22,000 people to attend, which would be less than half the level of the last event.

MINExpo attracts professionals from around the world and COVID-19 travel restrictions had an obvious impact. However, the general consensus from the show floor was positive, with many saying the experience exceeded expectations.
