Jennmar, and its affiliate Jennchem, purchased Heintzmann Corp. USA, a mining supplier based in Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
“We are excited to integrate Heintzmann’s full line of steel supports and chemical products into our portfolio,” said Tony Calandra, executive vice president, Jennmar. “Heintzmann’s steel supports include, beams, props, longwall support hardware, lattice girders, and arch supports.”
The products will continue to be manufactured at the same plant in Cedar Bluff as they are incorporated into the Jennmar’s Virginia portfolio, and sold by Jennmar Specialty Products, Calandra said. Heintzmann’s chemical support and roadway repair products will be folded into Jennchem’s offerings. John Breedlove, president of Heintzmann, will act as general manager of the Cedar Bluff facility.
For the immediate future, all operations of the facility will continue as normal and current customers and vendors will be notified of any changes in the coming weeks.
