Eldorado Gold’s subsidiary Hellas Gold SA will use simulators from Immersive Technologies to train underground miners at its Olympias mine in northern Greece. The implementation of two IM360-B Advanced Equipment Simulators and blended learning products is expected to improve operator performance and safety and enhance workforce development strategies.

In an effort to develop a highly skilled and dedicated workforce for the underground operation, the company has purchased simulator conversion kits for Sandvik LHDs, mine trucks, and drilling and bolting machines. In addition, Professional Services from Immersive Technologies are in place to support the implementation of simulation products.
