Valéron Strength Films recently introduced its Valéron XP film for explosives cartridge packaging to the North and South American Markets. The multilayer polyethylene-based cross-laminate film reduces the risk for uncontrolled explosions. The film provides outstanding puncture, tear and tear propagation resistance and high-dimensional stability under extreme temperature conditions.

“Cross-laminated films, like Valéron XP, provide a more balanced strength than any other substrates and ensure high dimensional stability in all directions,” said Massimo Bortolotti, global sales manager explosives at Valéron.
