Last week, Mobil Industrial Lubricants, licensed in Brazil as Cosan, presented several new mining-related products at the Brazilian Mining Congress and Expo (Exposibram). The new products included Mobil DTE 10 Excel, Mobil Rarus SHC 1020 and Mobil SHC Gear OH — consisting of the latest generation lubricants for hydraulic systems of mobile equipment, synthetic compressor and motorized wheels, respectively.
Product lines have proven high performance, allowing cycle extension between oil changes, reduction of wear and failure of components, said company officials; the end result is lower maintenance costs and increased productivity.
Mobil Industrial Lubricants also displayed the OilXplorer Analysis, a monitoring system for specific conditions of lubricant in use; the analysis, meanwhile, allows equipment assessment with online results. The service also contributes to maximum performance by altering for irregular conditions causing oil or machinery degradation.
