Jacobs Engineering Group received an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) contract by Midway Gold Corp. for its Pan gold project in Nevada.
Jacobs Executive Vice President Andy Kremer said, “We are delighted to build upon the relationship we’ve established with Midway on the construction of their first project; we look forward to leveraging our management expertise and resources to help them meet their business objectives at Pan.”
Under the contract, according to company officials, Jacobs will manage construction of the leach pad, ponds, buildings, ADR plant and other mine site infrastructure, while providing manpower and equipment for the construction phase of Midway’s project.
