Stracon GyM S.A. has reached an agreement with Hudbay Perú S.A.C. to extend its construction contract for the Constancia mine for an additional two years until the end of 2019. Under the extension of this agreement valued at $40 million, Stracon GyM will continue to provide Hudbay with the earthmoving services necessary for the regrowth of the tailings dam and other projects.

“This extension of the Constancia contract reflects the trust of our client Hudbay in the quality of our services and in the added value that our company provides in terms of safety and sustainability in our operation,” said Steve Dixon, CEO of Stracon GyM.

Stracon GyM is a mining services company of Grupo Graña y Montero, a leading Latin American engineering firm, which has extensive experience in integrated construction services for open-pit and underground mining operations.
