Former Newmont CEO Takes the Reins at Boart Longyear

Boart Longyear recently announced that Richard O’Brien will take over as president and CEO of the company, effective April 1, 2013. Most recently serving as president and CEO of Newmont Mining, one of the world’s largest gold producers, O’Brien brings 25 years of operational and financial experience in the natural resources, energy and power sectors to his new role.
