Magnetek has introduced its M-Force 240/480/575-volt general purpose AC variable frequency drives for mining applications, designed for use with pumps, fans and conveyors in mining environments. According to the company, the MForce 240/480 Control can handle conventional applications of a typical industrial plant, from simple variable torque pumping to sophisticated networked material handling.

The M-Force 575 Control produces an output of adjustable voltage and frequency to control the speed of a squirrel cage induction motor. This drive addresses the higher 575-volt requirements of some mines.
