Oxford Instruments has introduced a new, faster, lighter and smaller handheld XRF analyzer, the X-MET7000. The analyzer is offered with a choice of calibration packages tailored for a wide range of material screening applications, and can be loaded with a flexible and unique selection of analysis methods to meet even strict compliance regulations. A bright, high contrast 4.3-in. (109-mm) LCD touch-screen ensures optimal outdoor viewing, even in direct sunlight. The results screen can easily be user-customized for individual needs; for example, to show only the elements of interest or create informative pass/fail messages.
