Siemens’ Sinamics DC Master drives are now available as ready-to-use drive cabinets. According to the vendor, the compact and rugged design makes the new drive cabinets particularly suitable for use in conveyor systems and hoisting equipment. The cabinets can be directly connected to three-phase systems and in the basic version cover a power range of 6 to 2,500 kW. The drive cabinets can be adapted to the requirements of the site by numerous options. For example, different levels of protection can be selected, as well as monitoring and protective functions. They also can be commissioned via an advanced operator panel or with PC support to reduce configuration and commissioning time.
