Thunder Creek Equipment developed a double-wall fuel tank and trailer combination that is compliant with the EPA’s SPCC Program as well as DOT406 and Transport Canada regulations.
The double wall tank design provides 110% fuel containment with a 990-gal. fuel tank mounted inside a protective secondary tank. The pumping system, fill ports and vents are also located within the secondary tank, thereby securing the fuel supply behind two lockable, hatch-style doors. Used alone, the tank is a secure, on-site solution for storing and dispensing fuel. Used in conjunction with a trailer base also available from Thunder Creek, it becomes a mobile fueling station. Features like four fuel surge baffles, a rugged 8-in. C-channel chassis and torsion axles streamline transporting fuel between job sites. The utility of the double wall tank and trailer can be extended with a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) delivery system. The system incorporates an ISO 22241 compliant DEF tank and a patent-pending 2-in-1 pumping system.
