unlike those routers, the compact (1.7 x 3.1 x 4.5 in.) SPECTRE RT is designed for environments such as cramped cabinet spaces or exposed locations and features a wide (-40 to 75°C) operating temperature, a compact DIN-rail mount, a rugged metal case and the ability to use 10 to 30VDC power input. Four main security features protect networked devices: basic NAT (Network Address Translation), VPN (Virtual Private Network) tunneling, a built-in firewall, and secure protocols such as HTTPS and SSH to encrypt data.
