Larson Electronics has introduced a magnetically mounted Class 1 Division 2 hazardous location LED light fixture designed for use as a temporary lighting solution for applications that do not require permanently mounted fixtures.
The HALP-48-2L-LED-M-12C-E2E light is equipped with four 200-lb-grip magnets and offers daisy chain capabilities to allow end-to-end connectivity throughout the work space. The fixture is constructed of noncorrosive materials including a polyester housing reinforced with glass fiber, a gasket for reliable sealing and an impact-resistant acrylic diffuser. Eight corrosion-resistant plastic latches secure the lamp cover to the housing and provide a firm lock against the seal to prevent water intrusion. The unit comes standard with two 28-watt LED lamps that are LEL listed, providing 125 lumens per watt for a total of 3,500 lumens per lamp. These lamps produce 30% more illumination than standard T8 bulbs, offering lower amp draw and increased reliability while providing 50,000 hours of service life.
