Ventyx recently announced availability of its asset management software for the first time as a software as a service (SaaS) delivered via the cloud. The SaaS solution, according to the vendor, provides an attractive alternative for small or medium-sized mining companies that require a lower total cost of ownership but need a comprehensive solution for today’s industry demands.
The SaaS-based solution is claimed to provide critical functionality needed to manage assets, maintenance strategies, materials and people, and analyze performance, while delivering key functionality needed to support financial and management accounting, as well as help manage service, inventory and non-inventory purchasing, capital projects, and asset acquisition, said Ventyx. The Ventyx asset management SaaS for mining is available immediately. It is offered under a single quarterly subscription fee, delivered from the cloud and accessed from customer premises using the Internet.
