Sandvik Mining and Getman Corp. have entered into a global distribution agreement under which Sandvik will become the exclusive distributor of Getman products for most regions worldwide.
USA-based Getman has been a major supplier of production and production support equipment to the underground mining industry for more than six decades. Its product range includes scissor lifts, explosive chargers, logistic support vehicles, lubrication trucks, multi-application pallet handlers and custom-designed support vehicles, along with a complete range of mechanical scalers. Getman recently introduced a shotcrete sprayer to complement its line of concrete transport vehicles.
“Getman products expand and strengthen Sandvik’s offering in both underground drilling and rock enforcement systems,” said Scot Smith, president of Sandvik Mining. “Sandvik started to distribute Getman products back in 2000 in certain parts of the world and with the signing of the global distribution agreement, Sandvik Mining and Getman will work together to offer the mining customers worldwide with both leading products and aftermarket services.”
