Epiroc’s spinoff from Atlas Copco attained practical completion for North American customers with the latter’s acquisition of Cate Drilling Solutions LLC in December 2017, Jess Kindler, president, mining services, Epiroc, said at the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration’s annual meeting in February.
The effect of the acquisition on customers is “quite positive,” he said. “We now have one united channel from Epiroc to our customers in Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah.”
